Try Medics is a Danish organisation with a dedicated on-site team at every destination, committed to creating safe, structured, and enriching hospital internship experiences abroad.
our mission
Who We Are
Try Medics mission is to broaden young peoples perspectives on global healthcare and create the framework for a journey defined by personal growth, academic learning, and positive cross-cultural relationships within the medical field.
In close collaboration with hospitals we offer two programs. One that gives students considering a healthcare career an insight into their intended profession. And one for students already enrolled in healthcare programs who want hands-on clinical experience in a health system that differs from home.
The safety and wellbeing of our participants is our highest priority. Every destination has a dedicated on-site team of program managers, cooks, housekeeping staff, and drivers. Program managers ensure the placement runs as planned, participants are properly introduced to the hospital, and follow up on progress daily.
Each destination also has a Danish coordinator with a healthcare background who is frequently on-site for professional guidance and support. Participants live together in the Try Medics house, exclusively for them. We consistently see strong communities form among travelers who share a passion for healthcare.

Meet the Team Behind Your Journey
At Try Medics, our team is committed to creating placements that are safe, well organised, and genuinely rewarding. Every member of the team plays a different role, but we all share the same purpose: being transparent about what participants can expect and delivering an experience that reflects it.
From the first enquiry and travel preparation to on-the-ground support throughout each placement, our team works together to provide guidance, answer questions, and ensure participants are well prepared and supported at every stage.
Together, we create the conditions that allow participants to focus on learning, personal growth, and making the most of their placement while giving parents and partner institutions confidence in the experience we deliver.
