About the Webinar

Our medical internship webinars give you a practical overview of the full Try Medics experience before you make any decisions. We explain the difference between our programmes, how clinical placements are organised, and what daily life is like at each destination. You will also learn about accommodation, meals, transport, safety, preparation, costs, and the support available before departure and throughout your stay.

During the session, we walk through each stage of the placement journey: choosing a programme and destination, preparing before departure, arriving at the Try Medics House, starting at the hospital, and receiving daily support from our local team. We also explain supervision, learning expectations, cultural activities, and the documents participants may receive after completing their placement.

Whether you are comparing destinations, considering a placement, already signed up, or supporting a student as a parent or academic adviser, you are welcome to join. No prior knowledge is needed, and there is no obligation to apply afterwards.

Our medical internship webinars are hosted by coordinators who spend much of their time living and working at our destinations. Because they know the partner hospitals, accommodation, local culture, and day-to-day programme, they can give honest, first-hand answers rather than general sales information. You can ask about a particular destination, clinical discipline, travel preparation, safety, or anything else that matters to you.

Our webinars are hosted by Try Medics coordinators who spend much of their time living and working at our destinations. They bring genuine first-hand experience of the placements, partner hospitals, Try Medics Houses, local culture, and the questions participants most often have before travelling. During the live session, they can explain what a typical weekday looks like, how participants are introduced to the hospital, where to go for support, and how organised activities fit around the placement. You can ask specific questions about your discipline, preferred destination, accommodation, travel plans, safety, or programme dates. If a question requires individual follow-up, our team will contact you afterwards with a clear answer. The aim is simple: useful, honest information that helps you decide whether a Try Medics placement is right for you.
