Hospital placement
in ZANZIBAR

Join our clinical or observational program in Zanzibar, Tanzania combining valuable healthcare experience with life on a tropical island.

Considering or Studying Healthcare?

Whether considering a career in healthcare or already studying a healthcare discipline, our hospital internships in Zanzibar offer the opportunity to gain valuable healthcare experience while immersing yourself in a different culture alongside like-minded young adults from around the world.

While the hospital placement remains the primary focus of the programme, a carefully selected range of spare-time activities is included as part of every placement, allowing participants to make the most of their time in Zanzibar.

Refined through years of experience, these activities provide the opportunity to explore the island beyond the hospital, from the UNESCO-listed Stone Town and its rich cultural heritage to white-sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, and the unique blend of African, Arab, and Indian influences that make Zanzibar one of the world's most distinctive travel destinations.
