Akim is an important part of our team in Uganda. As an activity coordinator and guide, he is your ultimate travel companion. Friendly, welcoming and always ready for adventure, Akim is the person you want to spend the most time with in Uganda. He is your companion on trips and weekend trips and his enthusiasm and local knowledge will ensure that you get the most authentic experience of the country.

Selina is our Program Manager and is responsible for coordinating your hospital internship. She is always available to help you with any questions and makes sure everything goes as planned at the hospital. Selina will often participate in the evaluations and work closely with you to optimize your learning environment.
Should you have any desired changes to your internship during your course, Selina can quickly follow up on it with her close collaboration with the hospital. This could be, for example, if you want to stay longer in a particular department than first planned, etc.
Maria, our Assistant Manager, is a smiling and kind soul who loves spending time with travellers. In addition to helping Selina coordinate the hospital internship, you can find Maria near the Try Medics house. She is available to answer questions and ensure your stay is hassle-free.
